Week 2


The first week went very well. I've been religiously using the Spark app to track and Thursday was the only day I went over my calories. I was really hungry on thursday and friday of this past week, and that was a struggle for me. The app has me between 1380 and 1730 per day, and I am averaging about 1600 calories. It's been a lot of cooking, which I'm sure I won't be able to keep up, and that is worrisome. I did work out pretty much every day, except Saturday, but we went for a walk as a family. I also did well during the wedding- I DID NOT eat wedding cake, which is my biggest downfall! So overall, I really good week- I will weigh myself today, and will check in after that.
This week: I've already worked out this morning and plan to do the 6AM m/w/f thing again. Today while the twins are at swimming, I will also go fro a little walk. I have a huge wedding next weekend, and a busy sunday too, so I'll have to plan my meals for next week by the middle of this week. I was able to pre-cook some meals with fish and veggies, so those are on hand.

Week 1

I'm just fucking HUNGRY!!!! (I've always been a hungry girl). Seriously, I could eat a mountain of food right now. I always could, but I have done fabulously this week and working through the hunger is always hard the first week. 

Pre-plan for Week1


Week1: 

So my plan for this week:
M/W/F: workout at 6AM, do either the treadmill or a Nike workout (have you done those, it's an app on your phone with workouts)
Tuesday: 30 minute walk with the dog
Thursday: Spinning class
Saturday: morning spin class that rocks
Sunday: wedding
Eating plan: basically, I'm cutting out sugar and coffee this week. Breakfasts: either oatmeal, egg whites with spinach or protein bar (I could use a recommendation for a good one that does not have too much sugar)
Lunch: lots of salads with pre-cooked chicken (already done) and lentils soup.
dinner: We use Emeals, a meal planning program and these are the meals we have this week:
baked flounder
lime sweet potatoes with black beans and kale
fiesta quinoa bake
meatball sliders (will have to figure something out for this night)
spinach swiss quiche
mexican chicken skillet
